BENALU has acquired LEGRAS INDUSTRIES, French specialist in moving floor semi-trailers and becomes BENALU – LEGRAS Group.
The BENALU group has announced today the acquisition of the company LEGRAS INDUSTRIES.
LEGRAS INDUSTRIES was created over 1 century ago and has been for years a European leader in the design and manufacturing of moving floor semi-trailers and its associated logistics solutions. Its production units, warehouse and office space are located in Epernay (51 France) on a 80,000 m² surface.

BENALU aims to further strengthen the market shares of LEGRAS INDUSTRIES in France and abroad by benefiting from its industrial facilities, distribution network and purchasing capacities.
Arnaud de Ponnat, CEO of BENALU Group says: “We are very pleased to have been able to acquire the activities of LEGRAS INDUSTRIES within a very competitive environment in order to create the new BENALU-LEGRAS Group. This deal represents a great development opportunity in the moving floor vehicle segment and we are looking forward to working with the LEGRAS INDUSTRIES teams whose cutting edge expertise is recognised on the market.
Jean-Rémy LEGRAS, President of LEGRAS INDUSTRIES, adds: “This acquisition has been made possible with the full support of the LEGRAS INDUSTRIES teams because they can actually see the way how to create a major European group for the manufacture of semi-trailers for bulk transport, while reinforcing the competitiveness and ensuring the long-term future of the company.
Further to the acquisition, the new name of the consolidated Group will be BENALU-LEGRAS and Arnaud de Ponnat will become Chairman of the new Group. Jean-Rémi Legras is a shareholder of the new entity.
