The BENALU-LEGRAS group in a few words

Benalu was created in 1967 by Hubert Pora and Dominique Bonduelle in order to produce aluminium tippers, a concept that they invented and developed.

Nowadays, a subsdiary of the holding Arcole Industries (www,arcole-industries,com), with a turnover of more than 250M€, the BENALU-LEGRAS group (companies Benalu, Bennes Marrel, Maisonneuve, Legras and Mega) is a European leader in design and manufacture of industrial semi-trailers. The group has production site in Liévin (62), Andrézieux-Bouthéon (42), Cérences (50), Epernay (51) and Nysa (Poland) and employs nearly 1300 employees. The Benalu group has a large range of “steel” and “aluminium” vehicles : Big volumes, public works, tanks, moving floor or intermodal vehicles.

Creation of BENALU

The first company in Europe to design and produce aluminium semi-trailers.

1969

Creation of the “BRETAGNE”. The first semi-trailer for agribusiness in full aluminium in Europe.

1970

Creation of the first silo-trailer 100% aluminium named “DIAMANT.

2005

Introduction of the SIDERALE, semi-trailer for public works in aluminium with numerous patents, reference on the market.

2010

Benalu buys BENNES MARREL specialized in steel vehicle construction

2015

Introduction of the BULKLINER S, reference of agribusiness semi-trailer on the market

2017

The BENALU’s group takes over the society MEGA in Poland in order to expand its business onto Eastern european countries.

2018

The BENALU’s group takes over the society Maisonneuve at Clérences (50) in France in order to expand its business in silo market

2022

The BENALU group acquires the company Legras Industries, a pioneer and European leader in the manufacture of moving floors.
