The BENALU group announces today the resumption of the activities of the MAISONNEUVE Group.
The MAISONNEUVE group, created 80 years ago, is one of the French leaders in the design and manufacture of tank-vehicles and water treatment plants. Its production plant is located in Cérences (50) and covers an area of 15,000 m2.
The MAISONNEUVE Group’s tanker manufacturing activity represents a turnover of around € 20 million and employs 130 people.
Maisonneuve is active in all segments of the market: hydrocarbons, chemicals, water, milk collection, food, bitumen, liquefied gas and wastewater.
MAISONNEUVE has developed its sales in France and abroad thanks to the quality of its products and its capacity for innovation (i.e. tanks dedicated to the collection of milk with electrical servoing),
Consequently, this acquisition represents a structuring operation to assert the leading position of BENALU in Europe in the production of vehicles for the transport of bulk (solid and liquid).
Renaud Sueur, President of BENALU declares: ” We are very pleased to have been able to achieve, in a very competitive context, the resumption of the activities of the MAISONNEUVE Group. This recovery represents a fantastic development opportunity for the BENALU group in the tanker segment for the transport of liquids. It is indeed a great satisfaction to be able to achieve a recovery fully in line with the development strategy of the group that we lead. I add that this recovery is done with the full support of the MAISONNEUVE Group teams who see in this merger, the way to become a key player in liquid bulk in Europe. »
This acquisition is perfectly in line with the BENALU Group’s strategy of consolidating its leading position in Europe in the heavy-vehicle segment (semi-trailers and heavy-lift carriers) for bulk transport (solid and liquid).
BENALU’s ambition for MAISONNEUVE is to develop its market shares in France and Europe by giving it the benefit of its industrial know-how, its distribution network and its purchasing capacities.
